FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Orangeville Food Bank Launches its First Ever Spring-A-Licious Food Drive with a Bold Target of Collecting 50,000 Pounds of Food
Orangeville Food Bank is a local non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in our community. With the ambitious goal of collecting 50,000 pounds of food, the Spring-A-Licious Food Drive aims to rally the community's generous spirit and make a lasting impact on those in need during this season of renewal and new life.
The Spring Food Drive, which will run from April 1 st to April 30 th , aims to fill our empty shelves and warehouse space. We currently need an additional 200,000 pounds to meet the rising need in our community.
We encourage individuals, businesses, schools, and community organizations to participate in our Spring-A-Licious Food Drive by donating non-perishable food such as canned goods, cereals, and school snacks. Monetary donations are always welcomed, as they allow us to purchase fresh produce and perishable items to supplement the donations. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on the lives of those who depend on our services.
As we work towards this ambitious goal, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our community partners and sponsors who have already pledged their support.
